   Somedays, you wake up and wish for a little groove in your grunge, or a taste of distortion in your soul. Give Me Sound brings it to you, with a fresh tune non genre-ized. Beats that'll make your head bob and infectious melodies, layered on top of scratched vinyl and soulful rock guitar, will bring this Kansas City local band to the forefront of the music scene.

   This quintet comprised of Brandon (guitar,vocal), Jonny (drums), Tyler (bass), Ally-Jay (turntables), and Thomas (guitar) has seen it's share of venues since it's formation in November of '04. Brandon Block (former bass player of Edison Switch) desired a change from the straight-forward rock he had been immersed in, and spent a year writing and developing in the style of his heart's passion. Now backed by some of Kansas City's finest, Brandon is ready to deliver tantalizing tunes reflecting Jesus Christ from a place deeper than himself.

   They kicked off the summer of '06 winning MIX 93's Best Band award, earning them appearances on NBC, and local radio play. Give Me Sound has since graced the stage with artists such as P!NK, Teddy Geiger, Nick Lachey, Skillet, Ashley Parker-Angel, Cheyenne, Jeremy Camp, and Sanctus Real. Playing in the tri-state area of Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa, Give Me Sound has already penetrated the scenes drenched by today's rock and hardcore bands giving ears a taste of something fresh. Blending they're love for modern R&B, classic soul, alternative, hip hop, rock and a million styles between into a sweet intoxincating concoction worth lending your ear.
